We’ve gotten a few emails lately asking about our previous writing contest and poetry contest, and whether we are still running the contests. Rather than try to respond to each individual email, we are posting this notice here.
AuthorMania.com has run poetry and writing contests for three years. While we have enjoyed running the contests, the 3rd Annual contests that ended in March of 2006 are the last ones we are holding until further notice.
Writer’s Market listed our contests in the older versions of the book. The listings are updated yearly, and even though it was in the older Writer’s Market books when it was an active contest, the last contest closed in March of 2006.
Thank you for your interest in AuthorMania and the contests. It is possible that in the future we will hold contests again.
